An e-mail exchange with the Secretary-In-Exile led to my concluding the following:
Most of us are not as intelligent as we like to think we are.
But it takes real intelligence to evaluate ourselves honestly and to recognize that we are not as intelligent as we think we are.
Therefore, if we recognize that we are not as intelligent as we think we are, we must be even smarter.
